16/1/12 MyColorfulFootStep Week IV
22 Jan., 2012, at 0700 hours I was accompanied down the hill to the Main Road by Chang Nana and his four santri. I took the car down to the City. Since, I had forcefully testing my physical and emotion endurance for the last two weeks, upon reaching the Hotel at Braga Street, I just slept the whole day. When I woke up in the late noon, I went to Rumah Makan Padang and really have my meal. I really ate a lots. I need to gain back my lost vitamins, minerals, and proteins to put me back to my normal health state.
(2) 23 Jan., 2012, 1000 hours I went over to handle my telecommunication problem at the Bandung Electronic Center (BEC). Thing didn’t work well, thus I just came back and really sleep. When I woke up in the late noon, I went over to Gramedia, and went crazy buying all those books that would help me in my spiritual development. Later in the evening, I just spent my time reading two books on the compilation of Jumaah Khutbah and Tradisi Pesantren.
(3) 24 Jan., 2012, 1000 hours I went back to the BEC and try to resolve my telecommunication problem. The vendor really can’t help me, and` thus I was suggested to the TelCo Service Provider at the next door building. I was lucky indeed. My problem resolved.
(4) I then took a taxi and went over to the Hanamasa Building at Dagok just opposite the BEC to look for nice cds. I believe I spent almost three hours there selecting all those nice Keroncong, Tangklong, Kecapi, Bosana, Soft Rock, and Soft Dangdut, all Indonesian song. I was indeed very happy to have my Cowboy Lunsi Benjamin S as well as Franky Sahilatua and Iwan Fall the three Penyanyi Rakyat compilations. All these are intended for my Kampung Café which is now just operating. I love to take my kampong folks back to their Javanese-Malay Tradition. That was also my biggest cds buying, 41 pieces all in. The Hanamasa building is a real nice concept. It is a building that house multi-traditional food stalls with three main anchor the Cds Shop, Pizza Hut and a Chinese Restaurant. I was amazed and fascinated by the color selection not only of the floor-tiled, the wall, ceiling, chairs and tables, but with the way the stalls were designed. They looked real unique, pleasant and inviting. Here, I really found myself was correct, when I insisted that Pasir Panjang Family Park in Kuching be designed, configured and colored to the kids and young eyes and feeling. Unfortunately, people can’t see of my instinct, and here I almost felt really down to the failure of the Project.
(5) In the evening, I stroll the Braga Street. I then landed at the Braga City Walk where there is a nice poor boys live performing band. They really can sing and played their unplug instrument well. I have my Bebek Goreng with nice Es Campur (ABC) and later Jus Jeruk Murni Es. I really enjoy the music and the song, but since there seem some que waiting to sit, I then made my way to stroll within the Complex. In fact it is the hind side of the Aston Braga Hotel. I then missed guided to watch My Last Love, which I thought was an English movie but in fact was and Indonesian. I stay put because of one of the actor speak Madura dialect, I really enjoy the way he spoke. That reminded me of my Madura favorite comedian Kadir.
(6) 25 Jan., 2012, 0930 hours after my breakfast, the driver by the name of Ujang fetched me from the hotel. I went over to the General Post Office to check on the pricing to send the books back home. On express basis the price would be Rp162,000/kg while on normal basis will be Rp110,000/kg. I have about 80 kgs of books. I want to turn my Kampong Home and Café into a Book Café and Library that would give my customers, relatives and friends a chance to read good books.
(7) By 1200 hours, I departed for CiJinjing and on the way I bought four pack of medium size Pizza Hut especially for An-An and Shanda my two lovely little girl friends. I reached the Pesantren at about 1430 hours and later called for Pak Ower the head of the Mosque renovation committee, Mas Chang Nana, and the in-law Mas Adas to hand`over the extra monies needed to really ensure the roofing of the 15 x 20 meters sq Mosque to be completed. Since the whole works of the roofing and some finishing is financed by me, and observing over the last two weeks on the Progress of the work, I suggested the system to be changed to contractual basis. For the time being, there are 10 workers who are paid on daily basis. Most of the time spent on smoking, chit chatting, drinking coffee and eating. I believe they are not productive and good portion of the donation monies were spent on foods, cigarettes, coffee, and all those cakes and light foods.
(8) Later I called on the woodman whom being entrusted to do the renovation to Chang Nana’s home, but I was not happy with his performance. Previously when I asked him to remodeled Asep’s room, it took him about three days, and I thought that for sadaqah purpose, I double his paid. Probably he thought that I’m not calculative enough, when doing the remodeling of Chang Nana’s bedroom, the dry kitchen and guest room, he seem to lengthen his timing and seeking the same salary as I have given him before. I tested his honesty by asking him to proceed with the renovation of the upper deck of the house, where the kids are using as their Quranic Recital Learning Place. He demanded double of the price which I calculated based on his working timing for the earlier works that I have requested. He seem to ride on my soft and kindness. This is really, what the Malay called as sudah diberi betis, nak peha. Surely I used my authority to put a stop on this and gave him a time frame to get the job done as well as the ceiling price. I don’t easily surrender my all these while principle: You work, I honor you, you don’t I will just f**k you off. No matter where and no matter when I’m.
(9) I really wish to see, especially Aida Rohiba, Chang Nana’s wife, and the whole family to have at least a decent living condition especially when almost daily there are about 100 kids learning reading the Al Quran at their home. These are kids from the poor families surrounding the Pesantren. I have sometimes talked to them, they seem having no inspiration. The whole community are just equally poor, and hopeless. I just want to inspire these kids to see how Allah take care of those who really dedicate their lives for His course. I believe Chang Nana and Aida Rohiba had done their responsibilities to the society dutifully. It is a pity to leave those who had dedicated their lives to the good deed, and yet, nobody bother to look at their sacrifice. I just want to educate and inspire the kids, I’m a leftist, that Allah had used to care for the rightist. Most important, I want to send them a message that it is worth to be good. Allah is great, and He will honor those true submission. I left sufficient monies to Chang Nana to get all those works done.
(10 ) Later, my two little girl friends came with their father. They love the Pizza Hut. I then took Shanda down the hill to the Main Road and surely after giving her a nice hug and kisses, I quickly rushed to the car that would take me back to the City. I just want to avoid breaking down as both of us began to be attached to each other. I got the driver to move out fast, and I don’t even dare to look back. I just waved to all those bystanders.
(11) Reaching the City by 1900 hours, then by 2030 hours I took a stroll at Braga Street. Nice cool breezing night, it is just like Denver, Colorado at the summer night. The ambient is just like Bintang Walk in Kuala Lumpur with lots of night lives. I intended to have my Bebek Goreng at the Braga City Walk while probably wanting to negotiate the price to bring the performing band to Kuching. There is a nice group performing there, and from the look at their attire, I believe, they are just poorly paid. I thought I want to help some friends back home in Kuching to make their Café a better ezzy-place.
(12) But my foot took me further down the street and I was really shocked to firstly saw: a man, a pregnant woman, and a kid probably age 2-3 years on the road side. There was a cup with some coins by the kid side. I just filled up the cup with some notes. Just about 100 meters from the poor homeless family, there was a woman with her kids sleeping just outside a Mini Market. God, that really make my tears to just rain down. Both the woman and the kid were still awake, thus, I just bought few food and drinking items for them also passed them some notes.
(13) As I walked passing a shop selling all those paintings, an old lady greeted me and laid me to her daughter gallery. Painting, music and books are my favorite items. I selected 23 pieces of painting from her covering all those floral, landscapes, birds and tropical fruits.
(14) Next door, there was a bigger gallery, there I was stuck for the whole night selecting another 55 pieces of various theme of paintings from floral, to landscapes, traditional living, animal, fishes, calligraphy, and human portraits.
(15) This special gallery, named Toko Rumah Seni Ropih is a superb classical Dutch shophouse that expand far and under ground to a river that cross Bandung City. Ibu Maimunah Yaman, the old lady that invited me to her youngest daughter gallery, is the mother to the owner of this gallery. He, Mas Ropih Amatubillah, is the oldest in the family of 10 brothers and sisters. His wife, Ape Mardiah was really a great salelady. She lured me to really spent, and probably my biggest spent in my whole life. I was indeed taken to explore the whole gallery, including the court yard that lead to the river. They kept everything as natural and as traditional as possible. I was then entertain to coffee and Sundanese Kecapi at their courtyard by the younger brother, Toto Galing, who is a nuclear science graduate but choose to be an artist.
(16) This big family, they are real artist. All of them paint and they paint very differently from each other. Mas Ropih paints abstract natural subjects and his paint always valued nothing less than Rp20,000,000. I was fortunate, due to my good buy from the family, I got a real Sundanese lady with a great discount but still worth eight digit Rp. I only left the gallery at about 0130 hours and really have exciting time with the whole family.
(17) I got few tips from Mas Ropih how to re-start my artistic finger. InsyaAllah, apart from all those spiritual matters that I will pursued, I will began with my music and painting class soon. I found artistic expression would be my next medium of communication.
(18) These paintings, I hope to share with friends in Kuching so that they could have accessed to good inspiring arts. I believe, each houses should have some paintings that would give the dweller some soothing feeling. Books and musics should also be there as relaxing items especially in neighborhood that lacking of green space. People might not realize, Leonardo Da Vinci, Napolean Bonarparte, Stalin, Ho Chii Minh, Hitlers, and thousands more great men, they love painting. Painting gave them different inspiration. I hope to share those inspiration with fellow friends and the community. My home in my Kampung, I turned it into an art gallery.
(19) In deed on my way back to the Hotel, which is merely about 500-800 meters walk, I passed about seven group of homes sleeping on the five feet pathway. The weather was cold, they seem to enjoy their sleep curling and hugging to each other. Three of the groups I believe must be families.
(20) I really can’t sleep the whole night. Something is bothering me, and my mind was thinking of few things back home. I then just took my bath and said the morning pray and later walk into the City Park nearby.
(21) 26 Jan., 2012, at 0930 hours I went over to the Art Gallery where I bought those painting. I just want to check on the packing since I will posted all those back home together with my books. I later added another eight more painting to the whole collection from another three more galleries. Interestingly, all these galleries are related to Mas Ropih. They are either his in-law, uncle, cousin or even brothers and sisters. His family is really a big artist family.
(22) After the packing was done, I invited Mas Ropih's three sisters to have lunch with me. It was already late and I felt real hungry. We had nice Bebek Asep or smoke duck at a nearby Rumah Makan (RM). As I was eating, one of the sister ie Rahma Widya, look intensely at me and asked her other sisters: ”Don’t he look like Freddy Mercury, the Queen Vocalist”, she then sang one of her favorite song love of live from his album. This lady as told by her other sisters is a superb. She is a great mother, patience wife, great artist (her painting sell well), can sing, and cook well. I then told her that she look like Malaysian artist ie Aishah and she sang one of her album.
(23) Later I went over to the Bandung Main Mosque. This is my second visit here. This in fact is a very interesting place of worship. It can accommodate probably to 5,000-7,000 persons, with big compound which I presume usually used during the Aidil Fitri and Aidil Adha prays. The Mosque corridor is packed with all sort of informal businesses. This seem a very popular place for the poor and lower income group to have their lunch. There are always lots of people lingering around the Mosque praying, listening to talks, or resting.
(24) I spent a bit of time wandering the whole Mosque complex. Next to the Mosque is the Islamic Bazaar, just like Siti Khadijah Bazaar in Kota Bharu. Unfortunately, the whole area surrounding the Mosque seem to loose the business fast. I did also notice that the dome structure of the Mosque are cracking all around. I believe this must have something to do with the annual earth shakening effect from the nearby region. One thing great about Bandung and Indonesia in general, one has no problem to pray. Even in a nice family-based Health and Spa such as Zen, have a Mushola. This is a great spa center that I would say is professionally run and maintain for families. People just cue to get their number especially during the weekend.
(25) Later I just follow my feet wherever they want to take my body. I landed in some distance and walking back to Braga is really a tiring adventure. I escaped from following the Main Roads. I simply went through all those alleys and later getting myself lost in a small neighborhood. As I looked into the sky when there is an opening in the alleys, I could see both Aston and Kedaton hotels Braga are just around the corner. This neighborhood is a real interesting Dutch-style living environment with winding small lane or alley linking all those small-two storey homes. To some points I felt a bit lost, and need to continuously ask the bystander for the correct direction to the Main Street.
(26) This is a real slum. The homes, if we could called them homes, are small. The dwellers definitely are squeezing living like sardine. Even the alley became their wet kitchen. Worst then those Sintiong neighborhoods in Jakarta as I had earlier visited. These are probably rooms for rent at Rp2,000,000-3,000,000/months. Nonetheless, I felt secure walking in this neighborhood as there are lots of Mushola being built all over the place. This symbolized certain degree of good characters are there within the community. The only problems here are the poor hygiene and possible very bad fire hazard.
(27) In the late afternoon, I just rest in my room while reading two books written by Bung Hatta: Kemerdekaan dan Demokrasi and Perdamaian Dunia dan keadilan Sosial. In the evening I went over to listen to the Live Band performance at Braga City Walk.
(28) 27 Jan., 2012, at 0900 hours after drawing some cash from HSBC and BiiMayBank, I took my books and all those paintings to the Post Office. That was a real interesting experience. All in was about 60 Kg of good to be Express Posted back home. I asked for a trolley to take the good into the Post Office from the Main Entrance. Nonetheless, only after I had pulled those good all in, than only the trolley came. And few seem busy want to give their hands to take those good to the back for better repacking. At the packing place, there were two officers, a lady and a man. Then three general staffs. The three general staff supposed to help me with the repacking, instead they got confused on how to divide my books and CDs into equal 20 Kg/box. In my mind, were they really confused or they just want to be busy for my treat. After the weighting, I asked what would be the best choice ie fast, safe and affordable. They said by ship will take months. By flight at least two weeks. That was the normal postal service. But my earlier enquiry, the front lady said it was only three days at a cost of Rp151,000/Kg.
(29) ”Oh itu EMS Pak” answered the Male Officer. ”Apa bedanya EMS sama Pos Indonesia? I questioned with annoyment.”Bukankah EMS itu juga milik dan sekantor Pos Indonesia ini?”, I questioned them further. ”Ya, ya Pak”. Then the EMS clerk came to calculate the total cost and to take and key in all my details. It took him about 45 minutes to get all those done.
(30) All were done afther about three hours. My experienced in Laos and Cambodia, they take care everything and for few pieces that I sent back, it took them less then 30 minutes to settle. Here a much developed. State as compared to Laos and Cambodia, really had made me really cursed the Dutch. They had really corrupted this nation! They really know how to play with our emotion so that we will give some pelincir. Well, instead I made my way to see the head and have a good revelation on comparison of experience between Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia.
(31) After the Jumaah pray I then rushed up to Puncak. But, as I was shooting my camera on all those good mountain sceneries due to the late afternoon sunlight, it didn’t snap. Gotch, I have left the battery while I was charging at the night. I have to make a turning back, I just don’t want to proceed without those memories well captured. Returning to the hotel and without a book to read made me feel miserable. I then took a walk back to the Ropih Art Gallery and began to choose some more new arrival paintings. In the evening I have dinner with Gina and her aunty Widya and their kids. We had dinner at the Horizon Hotel where Widya good friends were performing. They are nice four persons unpluq guys with violin, guitar and ketempo. That was the night where I established a great relationship with both Gina and Widya kids: Eviani Amalia and Audrey.
(32) I taught them how to take photos. Within minutes, they became quiet great photographer. I was also amazed how photogenic they were. The whole family really enjoy photographing. Audrey enjoyed the most since she had always want to be a photographer and wishing to have a camera. I love to get her EOS 7D but since it cost about Rp16,500,000 or RM6,000.00 and I believe my budget had burst far too much, I need to hold my breat not to speak about it. I hope one day if I revisited her, I will get her one. She really has the photographic talent. Evi had lots for her facebook collection then. That was sort of a farewell dinner for us!
(33) 28 Jan., 2012, by 0700 hours I headed for Lembang. Within 30 minutes I was already at CiHideung or Puncak which in normal busy day, it would take about two hours to be there. I was really lucky, the traffic was smooth. The morning breeze really gives the mountain and` the distance valleys a real cool splendid views. CiHideung is a ornamental plants nursery areas. I got two varieties of mosquitoes plants ie Lavendra and Rosmery in addition to thye Zodiac that I got about two years ago from Pontianak. Rosmery is the better one than the other two. Lavendra actually was abundant once in my Kampung. Except we never realized the purpose of the plant, now it is totally wiped out.
(34) Lembang is a vegetable farming area. They also have dairy cattle here. At the fruit stall I bought some red quava, markisa and Avocado mentega. I then proceed to the inactive volcanic area which I didn’t record the name. I took a horse ride Sabrina down and up the hill. As` I was told and read, horse is a very sensitive animal.Sabrina seem able to read my emotion which was not really stable over the past couple of days. I have some relation strain going on which made me hate Celcom so much for not wanting to charge my over limit usage of my handphone calls to my credit card to enable me to clear all the air fast and more effectively. Sabrina at many times just refused to move which burnt my feeling harder. I just than had to jumped down and pulled Sabrina just to walk by my side.
(35) Later I spent longer time at CiHideung to take photos on the roses and water lilies. I love these two plants.
(36) In my mind, I thought of flying back home next day ie Sunday, though I know the actual departure date was 31 Jan., 2012, but I had been telling everybody that I’m flying off by Sunday. When I look at my watch, I wonder why the date was 28 Jan., 2012 and not 30 Jan., 2012. I then reconfirm the date with the driver, and it was correct. Thus I have another two days with no plan.
(37) In the evening, again I invited Gina and Widya to take their kids out for dinner with me. They agreed and we went to Suharti Ayam Bakar. Evi great grand mother ie Widya mom did also joined the dinner. She was a real nice old lady. I enjoy having her around as if giving a treat to my late grandmom. Suharty Ayam Bakar is a real nice eating place. The foods were great. Here my relationship with Evi became stronger. She really listen to all those that I said, my experienced in many places all over the world, my works, about Malaysian lives, as well as those poor lives that I have came across the full breath of Indonesia.
(38) After dinner, since Sunday was not a schooling day, I asked Gina to allow me to take Evi to Gramedia the afternoon. I love to take Audrey as well but, I sense there seem to be some family problem affecting that nice girl, so I kept such intend a silent. I need some books to read in the Hotel as well as in my Tuesday flight back.
(39) 29 Jan., 2012 was a real lazy day for me. I slept a lot. The disturbing feeling affecting me badly. Nonetheless as promised, I went over to the Ropih Art Galery in the noon and later to have lunch with Gina, Widya and Evi at Braga Impian. Since Evi had her dance class then, I went to Braga City Walk to have hair wash and a bit of reflexology. By 1500 hours, I met Evi at the Galery and then took a taxi for Gramedia. There I let her choose what ever books that she wanted and I guided her to choose some those great novel written by some great Indonesian writer such as`Pramoedya and Andrea Hirata. I also introduced her to some historical novels and books on motivation. In the evening, I just stay back in the Hotel. I did all the editing to the photos taken by Evi and Audrey as well burying myself in a thick book titled: Seulawah Antologi Sastra Aceh by L.K Ara at el. Let me quote one of a nice poem by A. Hajmy (1936) to all you all the special one that I missed in a far distance:
antara kaki dengan poentjaknya,
di sitoe dakoe doedoek sebentar
melepaskan lelah badankoe penat
di sebelah kanan karang semata
di arah kirikoe sekar-beloekar
di moekakoe toebir tjoeram sangat
matakoe mentjacri tamsil kiasan
melihat-lihat penawar hati
memandang-mandang penoetoen hajat
terpandang semoet beranak-anak naik mendaki ke batoe tinggi
dengan gagahnya menoejoe minat
terlebih lagi di batoe lain
seekor semoet membawa makanan
lebih besar dari badannya
digonggong kea rah tempat sarangnya
dari dalam datang mendajoe
suara djiwakoe mentjipta ilham
“bahagial siapa soeka meniroe
mengambil ibarat perdjoengan alam!”
(40) 30 Jan., 2012 at 0900 hours I walked over to Pasar Baru which is located about 500-700 meters away from the Hotel. I have heard too much about this a must visit place especially for Malaysian. I just want to get something for some friends back home.
(41) It is a six storey building. Sort of a Plaza except the size of the outlets is about a quarter or so of a normal shoplot. I would say, this place is a heaven for a lower middle and lower income bracket. Things are cheap. Varieties are there from clothing to all those ladies and kids accessories. Much better than Pasar Siti Khadijah in Kota Bharu or Pekan Rabu in Alor Setar. Let put that Rantau Panjang minus the food staff in one building, that is how it look like. Crowded definitely on Sunday and school holidays.
(42) I spent quite sometimes here, and gave me some inspiration on how Rantau Panjang Kota Bharu could be developed since I would say the Thai Fashion are much of the general Malaysian liking. I could see rantau Panjang Kota Bharu could be a great Trading and Family City if Nik Aziz and Najib could work together for the sack of Islam and the Malays on both side of the country. I strongly believe it is bad that we Muslim quarrel over political differences and ignoring all the advantages that Allah had granted us for the good of everybody. All this characters would make islam as the One Religion of all. The Muslim had set bad example for too long shooing away others to the Religion. Too bad Najib, Nik Aziz, you guys need to bloody change!. I hope and pray to be able contribute to this.
(43) In the late afternoon I went over to Ropih Art Galery to have the payment and packing of the last five pieces of new paintings done. For record purposes, I have a special photo session with pak Ropih and the wife. Both Audrey and Evi were there. They went crazy with my camera. Deep in my heart, how nice to get a nice camera for them to really build their interest.
(44) I later invite Gina and the family to join me for a Farewell Dinner. I was delighted indeed to have Evi’s dad and grandfather to join us. Pak Ropih volunteer to drive us to a nice seafood resaturant. Gina want to show me all those nice paintings that they had organized for the Restaurant. All in I was informed, the Restaurant spent about Rp300,000,000 or equilavent to RM120,000 for about 10 nice master piece of Pasar Rakyat. It is a nice natural huge teak cut tables and stools seafood restaurant. At this dinner, I sort of making a promise to take Evi to meet my daughter Dewi by the year end school holiday. I love to get Dewi to have an international network and Evi to really experience an international lives when she is young. Her father indeed was very happy to see some change in Evi, whom used to be very reserved and now opening up with my attendance.
(45) As we depart at the Hotel Lobby, the whole family took off to give me a last hand shake. In my whole life, not even my kids had kissed my hand. That night Evi really took my hand and kissed it. I was really touch by this new found daughter. I hope to see her to get to her ambition either be a medical person or a business woman. She and Dewi seem to have the same ambition.
(46) 31 Jan., 2012 at 0900 hours I left the hotel and head for Husein Sastranegara Airport. I flew off after collecting some more books at the airport. I touched down in KLCCT by 1530 hours and upon setting my feet on the tarmac, I sweat like what. I have not been sweating for the last 30 days, thanks god, my health is still there. Upon landing in Kuching airport at about 2130 hours, I have McD with some friends in Kuching airport, then by 12.30 hours I had rested in my fragrant bedroom in MyKampung. Unfortunately, I can’t sleep well to this day I tried to finish of this writing (3 feb., 2012), ’Hang Li Po’ had been disturbing me badly.
(47) Few things that I just want to summaries from this full 30 days trip in Jakarta-CiJinjing-Jakarta:
(i) Poverty is a great issue of the future Indonesia. We Malaysian should now get united to really wipe this poverty and new form of social gaps among our people. Those hypocrite, stupid and self-interest politician in the DUNs and Parliament should start to relook at themselves and be shamefull. The civil servant, the GLCs drivers, if they are drivers should reshape themselves well. I won’t far from wrong if we careless about the future of this nation and its people, they will burn you down to ash, everything!
(ii) At least I have experienced and be with the real poor. I ‘ate’ their rice with salted fish only. I ‘bath’ their water. I ‘slept’ with their torn blanket. I stayed in their hut. InsyaAllah, at least three if not 13 smoke edict persons will stop smoking and keep their smoke money for a better deed of the family. Alhamdullilah, I made one family life better. I hope I had inspired about 100 kids to be great and just to be good to Allah.
(iii) I had made the heart of a mum and dad happy to see their Evi opening up. I pray for her success as their parent wish.
(iv) At least I manage to test my body to a good physical and emotional challenges. Hang Li Po you succeeded to almost made me lost in the Padang Ilalang at Gunung Nangka CiJinjing but Allah just want me to walk back tall. Despite my hate of Hang Li Po I did made some collection of beautiful CDs, Paintings and Books to be share with her, I don’t when and how?
(v) I hope with the Rosemery, Lavender and Zodiac would turn MyHome into much fragrant that would take me to 125 years on this earth. The avocado, the markisa, and the red guava I hope they would be one day Mykampung Main Commodities.
(47) To all the anak santri that had helped me in my stay in the Pesantren CiJinjing, Asep, Shanda and An-An, those new families of mine, I pray for your good health and great lives into the long future. Thanks to all the well wisher back home, I'm home but will be a nomadic again soon.
Kota Bandung, Indonesia-Terasi, Malaysia.

Salam .. looking forward to share the music and paintings at myKampung.
ReplyDeleteMany a times i have asked you whether i could travel with you, see the 'other' side of the world, but you said, it's like me taking the train and you taking the bus. You struggle hard to make changes, to improve lives, to realise a different view, why the hesitant? We may differ in our upbringing, our thoughts, our views and how we perceived things, i need to learn, to understand and to experience. I wish for a journey to Baghdad, a journey to the silk road and a journey to the nusantara without any attachments.i am bale to stand on my own, there are things i view but i can't see. Perhaps a disciple is what i have missed, what i look for.The journey is long and winding, i want to straighten, unwind and shortened the journey for the good of my race ,my nation and its inheritance.i really hope we can cross each other's path one day and exchange our notes.
